Dimension Data positioned in Leaders Quadrant of Gartner’s Communications Outsourcing and Professional Services Magic QuadrantJanuary 10, 2012/1 Comment/in Dimension Data, Global, Our Business /
On Dec 15, 2011, Gartner Inc. released their Communications Outsourcing and Professional Services report*, positioning Dimension Data in the Leaders Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant. Compiled by Gartner analysts, the Magic Quadrant evaluates 19 vendors of IT services for business communications systems worldwide, using two criteria: ‘ability to execute’ and ‘completeness of vision’.
We believe that our position in the Leaders Quadrant, as well as the report’s recognition of our ‘ability to execute’, further entrenches our philosophy that our clients remain at the centre of everything we do. In our view, this accolade therefore speaks volumes about the solid relationships we’ve developed with our clients and partners, and we thank everyone for their unwavering support on our journey towards becoming a services-led technology organisation.
In Gartner’s words, “Leaders affect competitors by: enabling technology and IT service offerings; their focus on the enterprise and targeted industry segments; and their capability to differentiate on value, price and service levels to be first to market with relevant products. Vendors in the Leader’s quadrant are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are building competencies to sustain their leadership positions in the market.” In our opinion, our placement in the Leaders quadrant demonstrates that we are able to leverage market forces, create opportunity, and drive market change for the maximum benefit of our clients.
Our investments over the last 12 months, such as our acquisition of OpSource and subsequent creation of a dedicated Cloud Services Business Unit, shows that we’re serious about growing our ability to offer you more IT outsourcing options, while the ongoing enhancements of our service delivery platform enables us to deliver a stronger range of Managed Services.
